For instance, if you could get your internet business listed on Yahoo!, you would probably receive so much traffic you would exceed your bandwidth limit which would be a problem, but a good problem to have! Your strategy therefore, is to get other high-traffic websites in your marketplace to link to your website. You do this by providing value and great content. You provide reasons for them to link to you. This could take the form of great articles you have written and posted on your site, or answers to problems that people have. It could be anything, as long as it is of value. Be creative, do some research and testing.

Something else you might want to consider, is simply linking to a related internet business that already enjoys high volumes of traffic,  and ask for them to link back to you. This is a very simple but effective strategy for increasing traffic to your internet business. Be sure before you do this though, that you take a critical look at your own internet business and satisfy yourself that you would be confident to promote such a site to your readers and that it will provide value and use to them and is not merely there as a vehicle to direct traffic to your internet business! Are you trying to make money online but just can’t seem to get the income you want? There are thousands upon thousands of aspiring online business entrepreneurs who are in the same boat as you right now. You are not alone! However, in this article, I am going to give you some tips on how to actually make money online and eventually bring in a very nice income.

Before we get started let’s talk a little about who I am and why it’s even worth your time to listen to me. Am I rich? No. My bank account would be laughable compared to Bill Gates or Donald Trump, but compared to the average person trying to make money online from a home business you could say I am doing quite well.

I started my online business about three and a half years ago and slowly but surely increased my income to the point of financial independence. I now make a very good full time income online and only work a few hours per week. It wasn’t easy… far from it! But it was worth it. I don’t consider myself to be some money making guru. But I have been making money online, and teaching people to do the same, long enough to know what I am talking about.

So how can you make a living from home? Here are the steps necessary to make money online and eventually bring in a very good income…

1) Define Your “Why” – Really the first, and most important, step to becoming rich is not “how” to do it but “why” to do it. Without your why, your how will be nearly impossible. Once you have found your why, it is much easier to find your how to become rich. You must look deep inside yourself to find out why you want to become rich. Once you have found it write it down and keep it in a place where you will see it everyday. After you find your why you can search for your how. Remember, there is no easy road to riches. If there was then everyone would be rich.

2) Write Your Plan – When you are getting started you will need a plan. What exactly do you want to accomplish? How long will it take to do it? What steps do you need to take to ensure it happens? How many hours are you going to put in each day? How much money can you afford to spend on marketing? Etc… Think about these questions and write down the answers. Make your plan realistic and stick with it as closely as possible. It can be modified along the way as things change but you should always have a realistic plan to follow.

3) Find Your “How” – Now it’s time to start searching for how you will make money online. There are many different ways to make money online. A few of the most popular ones are: business opportunities, affiliate marketing, network marketing, niche marketing, creating your own e-book, or doing an actual online job. Most of these actually go hand-in-hand so you will usually be doing more than one at a time. They are usually lumped under one umbrella called internet marketing.

My suggestion is to start out with an actual paying online job as well as at least one of the others. Doing this will allow you to bring in an online income while getting started in something that you will eventually make a lot more money doing. For instance, you could work a couple hours per day in an online job while spending the rest of your spare time learning how to market affiliate programs.

4) Get Educated – Walking blindly into an online business without having some basic education is suicide! You need to know the basics of online marketing and promoting. You can get this education for free all over the place on the internet. A great place to start is internet marketing forums and articles.

You also need to know programs to definitely stay away from before you make the mistake of jumping into some overhyped dishonest opportunity or even an all out scam. A good way to be sure you don’t get sucked into one of these is to stay away from anything that promises ridiculously large amounts of money in a short period of time. Or any opportunity that says you will make a lot of money without doing any, or very little, work. It’s just not true!

To help you out a little here are a few things I can tell you right now to avoid – paid to read emails, randomizers, doublers, paid to surf, HYIP, the oprah paypal letter, etc… of course there are more things to stay away from but I can’t go into detail in this article due to length. I will tell you that the Honest Income Program mentioned above gives you a lot more programs to avoid and tells why you should avoid them.

5) Get Started – Now it’s time for you to get started making money in your new business. It is critical in this step to be focused. Don’t go jumping around to every opportunity you see just because it promises riches. Stick with what you started and put your full effort into it. It is also critical that you do not expect too much too fast. It is going to take time to start making money online and it is going to take even longer to start making a significant amount of income.

While you are getting started you will be learning a LOT. In fact, you will probably feel like you are on information overload and feel overwhelmed by everything there is to learn. Don’t worry it will all come together. Just take things one step at a time in an organized manner. The learning is something that never stops. You will constantly be learning new things in online business but the beginning is probably the most crucial and the toughest.

The most important part of this step is to TAKE ACTION! Yes, there is a lot to learn and a lot to do but the only way to get anywhere is to do something with it. Making money online is largely about taking action. The more you sit back and wait for the “right time” the less you are actually out there making money.

6) Work Hard and NEVER Quit – This is probably the best advice that was ever given to me and I consider it the most important tip I can pass on to anyone trying to make money online. No matter what anyone tells you making money online is hard work. You have to put in a lot of time and effort before you reap the rewards of it. You will fail at times, that is certain! However, you will also succeed if you get up from those failures and keep going!

That’s it. Those are the six basic steps to making money online and eventually bringing in a great full-time income. Of course, this article is a simplified version of what it truly takes. There is more detail to making money online that cannot be fully explained in one article but the above is basically all you need to do. It will not be easy but it can certainly be done. There are thousands upon thousands of people making money online right now. Many of them are very rich because of it. Follow the above steps and you can be making a full time income on the internet soon enough.

What is a Web hosting Company?

A Web host is a company that provides server space for your
website. You can think of a web host as a commercial building.
The web host provides space for your website just as a
commercial building provides space for your shop or office.

What are some of the things you should look for when choosing a
web host? The criteria for choosing a free web host and a
commercial web hosting solution are slightly different although
they do overlap.

A) Web Space

Does it have enough space for your needs? If you envisage that
you will expand your site eventually, you might want to cater
for future expansion. Most sites use less than 5MB of web space.
Indeed, at one time, one of my other web sites,

about 150 pages on the site. Your needs will vary, depending on

B) Bandwidth allotment

Nowadays, many free web hosts impose a limit on the amount of
traffic your website can use per day and per month. This means
that if the pages (and graphic images) on your site is loaded by
visitors beyond a certain number of times per day (or per
month), the web host will disable your web site (or perhaps send
you a bill).

It is difficult to recommend a specific minimum amount of
bandwidth, since it depends on how you design your site, your
target audience, and the number of visitors you’re able to
attract to your site. In general, 100MB traffic per month is too
little for anything other than your personal home page and 1-3GB
traffic per month is usually adequate for a simple site just
starting out. Your mileage, however, will vary.

C) Reliability and speed of access

This is extremely important. A site that is frequently down will
lose a lot of visitors. If someone finds your site on the search
engine, and he tries to access it but find that it is down,
he’ll simply go down the list to find another site. Slow access
is also very frustrating for visitors (and for you too, when you
upload your site). How do you know if a host is reliable or
fast? If you can’t get feedback from anyone, one way is to try
it out yourself over a period of time, both during peak as well
as non-peak hours. After all, it is free, so you can always
experiment with it.

== 4. How To Promote Your Business Website ==

Write An Article: Write an article promoting your site or
product. Write an article on a hot topic many people would like
more information on and submit it to various e-zines. How do you
find out what’s hot? Visit a few of the message boards and see
what questions are raised often. Search Engines: Thousands of
search engines exist on the Internet. But, you should only be
concerned with the top eight or ten. You should manually submit
to the top eight: Alta Vista, Excite, Yahoo, Hotbot, Lycos,
Northern Light, Infoseek, Webcrawler, and use one of the FREE
automatic submission services like *SubmitPlus* to handle the
smaller search engines.

Directories: List your site here too. Directories organize sites
into categories. Good examples of Directories: Yahoo, Magellan.

Ezine Listings: If you have an e-zine to promote along with your
site. Why not list it with one of the many e-zine services on
the Internet. E-zine Library is a good one to start with.

Free Classifieds: You will have to submit to a ton of FREE
classifieds to get any significant traffic. Why? You are
competing with thousands of other Ads. Remember to work on your
Ad copy and make it attention grabbing. Go to one of the popular
search engines, type in Free Classifieds, and surf to the top 20
classified sites for beginners. Often, these sites will lead you
to several other Free Classified Sites. In response you’ll get a

First, a person can choose to put up his or her own website to sell products or advertise goods. This would, of course, require that the person be equipped with technical skills needed to design and maintain the website. Alternatively, the services of small website developers can also be used. Understandably, this approach to making money online requires a certain amount of capital.

On the other hand, if capital is not readily available, people can also choose to use their knowledge and experience to earn money online. They can refer qualified people to online job-hunting agencies that pay commissions for applicants that eventually get hired. Such commissions may range from a hundred dollars to as much as five thousand dollars. They can also refer buyers to suppliers. Closed supplier deals are also awarded with certain cash incentives.

For people who know how to write, they can also choose to become a semi-pro reporter. There are websites that pay people to write on a variety of topics such as parenting, banking, and automobiles. They will be paid based on the number of times their articles are viewed. The typical pay is ten dollars per 1,000 views.

People can also utilize blogging software to earn money online. Unlike websites, blogs do not require capital. They can easily be set up in minutes. Once done, the owner can post products to sell or advertise other people’s products. However, blog owners should be creative enough to think of an interesting blog topic. This would help ensure that more people will visit the site.

There are still several other ways to earn money online. People can utilize the Internet to earn money in whatever way they prefer, but ultimately, their success will still depend on their diligence and commitment.
