Home Based Business Owners and stay home moms have to be efficient minded people
when it comes to using their time and money.
1. As a work from home mom check your local area for good quality thrift shops for clothing and household items. Be creative in how you can utilize an item after purchasing it.
2. Instead of buying high priced laundry detergents, purchase an expensive one along with a box of borax. Mixing laundry detergent and borax will whiten and brighten your laundry. Stay at home moms will find many uses for borax in their daily house cleaning.
3. If you are a stay home mom try to schedule your errands on a particular day so you don’t use extra fuel running out every day.
4. Consider introducing your family to legumes instead of serving a meat dish every day. There are a lot of wonderful bean recipes on the Internet. Cook dry beans with enough for a couple of meals using different recipes.
5. Purchase a small chest freezer for great sales on frozen foods or breads. Look for bread thrift stores in your area. On some days they may even have marked down items.
6. If you belong to a stay at home mom’s group maybe you can coordinate on going shopping together when seeking out different types of thrift stores.
7. If you are a home based business owner or stay home mom find out when the local grocery stores mark down their fresh meat before the sale date. There is nothing wrong with the meat but you can save several dollars.
8. Work at Home moms can check in their town for wholesale food brokers and see if they have an outlet store for dented can goods. As a home based business owner I have a food broker that I purchase these items from.
In these stressed economic times everyone should consider how to stretch their money, especially all of us who are internet based business owners, home based business owners or work from home moms.
