JAKARTA (IFT) – The competition of hatchback cars is getting tighter in the second quarter. The proprietary sole agents for Japanese cars reduced their production due to natural disaster in Japan that created a component supply difficulty. The proprietary sole agents for non-Japanese cars took advantage of that condition to sell their hatchback cars. “We are calculating how much the demand is on the hatchback cars in the second quarter of 2011,” said Juwono Andrianto, Secretary General of the Association of Indonesia Automotive Industries.
