Several police cars in a neighborhood, breaking up a fight among teens. In February, a group of teens were arrested after a brawl at a gas station. Last week, a fight between girls was caught on tape at the Diakin Festival and posted to YouTube. Monday, Point Mallard was shut down early due to a fight at the water park, and l ate Tuesday night, a parent of a ball player called police after her daughter’s game had ended and says she saw anywhere from 25 to 35 teenage boys fighting on a nearby street.

Residents who live close to Tuesday night’s disturbance tell me they’re getting tired of hearing news about young people getting into fights.

Sandy McCaskey’s home is a few blocks from the ball park. He thinks the problem with some of today’s teenagers starts at home.

“Parents they turn their kids loose. No supervision. I think the parents should step up to the plate and be more concerned about their kids,” says McCaskey.

McCaskey’s neighbor, Mary Hall, isn’t as concerned about her safety or her home as she is kids in her neighborhood.

“It does worry me because we have a lot of kids in our neighborhood and I’m scared they’ll get involved in these things. The shootings in Huntsville and other things going on around us things like this bring it closer to home. Things might happen to the kids in our neighborhood,” says Hall.

For McCaskey, hearing about teens fighting so close to his home is troubling.

“It kind of makes me feel bad due to the fact they’re in my back yard and we need to be more concerned about our neighborhood and who comes in our neighborhood, regardless of the ball park, because we have to live here day after day, day after day,” McCaskey says.

And hopefully, he says, he won’t have to hear about any more teens fighting near his home or in his city.

Los Altos, CA, United States (AHN) – A Russian billionaire has purchased what is reported to be the most expensive single family home in the United States. Yuri Milner is now owner of the massive $100 million, 25,500-square-foot ,Silicon Valley property.

Milner, who made his fortune in Facebook, Groupon and other technology investments, also heads Digital Sky Technologies.

Milner resides in Moscow with his wife and two children but apparently has no plans to move into the estate inspired by an 18th-century French chateaux. In addition to its five bedrooms and nine bathrooms, the property sits on nearly 17 acres of land and also a nearby 5,500-square-foot guest house.

It boasts a ballroom, a home theater, a wine cellar, a spa/gym, a tennis court, a car wash, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and formal gardens.

One of the home’s architects, William Hablinski, told the Wall Street Journal that “There wasn’t a real budget” when he designed the house for tycoon Fred Chan.

Milner invested $200 million into social networking phenomenon Facebook. His company is said to control about $5 billion worth of Facebook shares.
