North Carolina company recalls cucumbers over salmonella contamination

Raleigh, NC, United States (AHN) – L&M Companies recalled over the weekend 1,590 bulk cartons of cucumbers suspected of being contaminated with salmonella.

The veggies were delivered by the Raleigh-based company from March 30 to April 7 to New York, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, Nebraska, Texas and Wyoming.

The recalled cartons have the marking Nature’s Delight and Lot No. PL-RID-002990 on the carton’s side. Only cucumbers with that lot number are being recalled.

The company made a nationwide recall Friday after U.S. Food and Drug Administration checkers found in mid-April salmonella on randomly selected samples of cucumbers at a cooler of Four Seasons Produce of Central Florida.

L&M, which believes that the strong trust by shoppers on local growers could easily be broken by small outbreaks, made a nationwide recall even if the firm had limited direct distribution from one recalled lot.

The company said it is moving in the line of caution in recognition of the possibility that wholesale customer redistributed the products in some states.

L&M acknowledges that safety is not a given at small farms, but local growers regardless of the size of their agricultural land, need to follow basic safety protocols.

Easy To Make Money Online – The Myth About How To Make Easy Money Online

When people new to the internet think others are making easy money online, they naturally want to make the same kind of easy money too.

When people who have lost lots of money chasing the easy money dream online, still continue to lose money still chasing the easy online money dream, then somebody needs to grab them by the shoulders and shout at the top of their voice… “STOP!”

That’s what I’m hoping to do with this article.

So if you fit into any of the above 2 categories…

“STOP!”

The simple fact is, there is NO easy way to make money online.

Some methods are easier than others, but none is easy.

They all require vital ingredients, namely work, work, and more work.

Throw in persistence, perseverance, and elements of inspiration, and you are getting closer to the real chance of making money online.

Shame is…

People just don’t want to hear that, do they?

So what do they do?

Look for the next person promising them the “easy to make money online” dream.

Now don’t get me wrong, once you have put in the hard work, and put it in consistently over a period of time, it becomes increasingly easier to make money online.

But hard work is what it takes.

And lot’s of it.

Now I can make this generalization, risk-free.

Because it doesn’t matter what kind of product or service you are offering online, you won’t make a LIVING online easily, until you put in the hours of hard work over weeks, months, and sometimes years to get you to a comfortable and consistent level of earning.

However try telling people that.

At a deep-root level, I guess most of us know this to be a fact.

Why do we still continue to believe then that there is an easy fix?

Here’s the news…

There isn’t.

Really… There isn’t.

Sorry to disappoint but wouldn’t you rather, for once in your lifetime have someone tell you the truth, rather than sell you the next easy to make money online dream?

Now I sell resale rights products.

And I can make thousands of dollars from a single email sent out to my subscribers.

Most people will say, “Yeah, that’s the kind of easy money I want to make!”

And here is the reality…

It’s taken me hours upon hours, days upon days, weeks upon weeks, months upon months and years of work, day and night to get to a stage where I can start to enjoy some kind of reward for my efforts.

Guess what…

The effort doesn’t stop.

Just as much time goes in now, sometimes even more than when I first started out.

Except now it’s a lot more fun and a lot more rewarding.

I am creating a website dedicated to teaching people how to make money online with resale rights.

And hard work, persistence and motivation is required every step of the way for those that will benefit from the advice on the website.

I might add, that the website is free, as is all of the information I will be putting on it.

But the fact remains, that you can teach a man to fish, but he still has to go out and do the fishing.

You can’t stand there and fish for him.

And to catch the fish is going to take time, effort, and the next day he will have to repeat it all over again if he wants to keep feeding himself and his family.

If you are looking for ways to make easy money online, and aren’t prepared to put the consistent hard work and effort in to create a profitable online business then take my advice.

Stop before you even start.

You’ll save yourself a lot of money if you do.

On the other hand, if you are prepared to put in the hours, put in the work and stick to ONE THING without getting side-tracked and distracted by the next easy money making scheme that crosses your path, then you, almost by necessity will start to see the rewards for your efforts.

How you decide to make the money online is irrelevant.

If something is making money for lots of other people online, it will for you too
but only with dedication, hard work and effort.

So the bottom line is this.

How hard are you prepared to work to earn easy money online?

Because without hard work, to make easy money online is a myth.

Reasons to Work at Comfy and Quiet Home

My father always says that as long as you are happy doing what you do then there’s nothing wrong with what you are doing. Of course this was directed to a person’s career. I have to agree with him.  I love working from home and there’s many reasons why it’s beneficial to me and I’m sure to many other people as well. In fact there are so many reasons that I’m sure I could write a book but for the sake of this article I’ll keep it to ten.

  1. Well, not just my bed but I love to sleep in. I’ve never been a morning person no matter how hard I tried to be. So now I wake up when my eyes pop open and never feel guilty or worse yet, late. A friend of mine once said that it’s not natural for us to wake up when it’s dark and I have to agree with her.
  2. The environment – I’m doing my part. The last job I had would take me about a half an hour to get to. That meant an hour of driving every day which turned into at least five hours on the road in a week not including any recreational driving. My car pollution has been cut into an eighth if not less since I’ve started working at home.
  3. I choose my hours – and my breaks. When I was working one of the things that drove me nuts was a strict half an hour lunch. Sometimes it took me twenty minutes just to get my food so a lot of time it became a choice between relaxing and eating. Now my favorite TV show is my lunch break and the elliptical is my two other breaks. Sometimes three. Okay fine sometimes four or five.
  4. I am responsible for my income – Whether I make a little or a lot of it. For me this is a big bonus. I love the fact that what I earn shows what my effort has produced. It makes me feel responsible for my own destiny instead of someone else being responsible for whether I make money or not. I have to say I worked a lot of casual positions when it came to jobs and having to beg for a few extra hours is not ideal to me.
  5. I am quite organized and I have certain things that I want to accomplish during each day but I never have the same routine to go about doing it.
  6. My dogs – they like me being home too. First there’s the exercise that they wouldn’t get if I was at work for nine hours out of the day. There’s also the affection and playtime that I break my day up with for me and for them. And most recently, not one that I want to happen a lot but one that happened just the same, was I could take care of one of my dogs when she got sick. She couldn’t walk very well and being able to have an eye on her and help her throughout the day was majorly important to me.
  7. Now if I get upset or have a bad moment I can actually sit down and meditate or take a nap.
  8. Days off – And I get paid without using up my vacation or sick time. I hated calling in sick because I felt like I was letting them down and sometimes I just wanted to take the day but that’s kind of hard to do when you decide that’s what you want at six in the morning. Your boss probably won’t be that happy with you. When you work from home you don’t have to look your boss in the eye the day after you take a day off. Plus you can depend on making money that day from your previous day’s efforts. People don’t stop using the internet because you took the day off.
  9. I’m saving money on lunches – and snacks. No more eating something I felt like that morning but no longer wanted for lunch. No running to the fast food joint down the block and buying what I really want. No chocolate bar to help me cope with work or bag of chips because the machine is right there anywase. Nope, I just go to the fridge and eat whatever I feel like and snacks are normal snacks that don’t come from a vending machine.
  10. I can work in my pajamas – or my underwear. It all depends on what I feel like I want to wear for the day. To be honest that saves a lot of time planning my outfit, trying on something and taking it off and trying something else on, staring at myself from every direction, and wondering if I’ve put on a few pounds in the last couple days.
